This month’s monthly meeting was held at Rima Dhillon’s new home in New Chandigarh. We also celebrated Preet Cheema’s birthday which coincided with our meeting. We took some very important decisions for the club going forward.
- Monthly field trip for September will be taken up to Morni Hills on 12th September 2021 at 0530 hours.
- Members were reminded of the deadline to submit their articles and photographs for the club newsletter.
- Members decided that the incumbent Executive Committee will continue in office for the next term.
- Members were asked to submit images of birds in ISCR bird list for the website.
- Members would be happy to know that Bank Myna has been selected for September Photo Competition.
- Chandigarh Park Census will be held on 19th September 2021. Members are encouraged to visit their local parks. They will submit their lists on eBird and share it with CBC on its eBird ID – ChandigarhBirdClub_CBC.
- New Club Lapel Pins will feature Red Junglefowl after a unanimous vote to add it to our lapel pins gallery.
Old Executive Committee continues, Chandigarh Park Census on third Sunday
Reinstatement of physical meetings has uplifted the spirits of both the club and its members. Field trips and other club activities have now resumed in their entirety. However, we are concerned about the pandemic and continue to adhere to public health guidelines issued by various authorities within the ISCR.
