Due to the ongoing pandemic, monthly field trips were called off, seeing as large parts of our usual ‘hunting’ grounds were closed as per the restrictions by various state governments. Now that Himachal is open and most of our members vaccinated, we can visit Chakki Mor, and in groups.
Field trips and, likely, monthly meetings will now be held as they were.
This month, we are visiting Jawaharpur, in the hopes of finding Bristled Grassbirds. It is likely that we might see quite many summer migrants there. Jawaharpur has been a hotspot for us birders. Among the grassbird, it has produces Tri-coloured Munias, Small Pratincoles, Long-eared and Short-eared Owlets as well.
If there be no third wave of the virus, we will move back to holding in-person meetings. Our members have gone weak without the customary tea and samosas.

Wow it’s a nice idea, it will be helpful to be in the teams and getting the records together of birds especially the summer migraines which are present now.
