Coronavirus continues to hinder club activities for another month. In view of this, our monthly field trip has been converted into another home birding initiative.
Backyard Bird Count is a continuation of Chandigarh Parks Bird Count series which began in November last year. Due to the ongoing public health crises, we haven’t been able to keep it up. With this, we are attempting to get a record of summer migrants in the city.
Club Members will record birds in their gardens or local parks.
Through this project, we will be able to develop a record of the species visiting in particular areas of Chandigarh. It is also the best time of the year as summer migrants are here and monsoon is just round the corner.
